Gloop is a toxic variation to the more common Gleap More capable l in combat than the Gleap, possessing poisonous secretions that aid in hunting. Slower than the more common Gleap, the Gloop makes up for the fact with a reduced metabolism, capable of waiting dormant in one place for a long time before needing to hunt. Additionally, the area in which a Gloop makes it's domain, becomes toxic and twisted - the plant life dying, and air becoming harmful to breath. If a Gloop chooses to stay in one location for more than a years time, the ground itself becomes poisonous, sprouting harmful plants, polluting nearby water sources, and permanently making any nearby vegetation more deadly and toxic to consume. Creatures unaware of a Gloops presence often find themselves eating the local vegetation, or breathing the air in it's domain without realizing they have become poisoned. Once the toxins settle, the target is often killed, or severely slowed and debilitated as fevers and violent vomiting wrack the unfortunate creature. While in this state, the Gloop finds the affected, and claims it's next meal. So effective is this creatures lasting poisons that it is often sought out by poisoners for collection and distillation.
Capable of exuding toxic spores all around itself, and also production of poisonous secretions. Both contact, and proximity to the Gloop will inflict poison, which lasts slightly longer than many other types of poison inflicted. Outside of the mechanism of poisoning a creature, the Gloop is not a powerful fighter. Most dangerous in groups.
