Jungle Ixoling are a variety of Ixoling that lives primarily in dense jungle environments. Ixolings are small crawling enemies which appear most commonly in Ceremonial Hunting Caverns, primarily due to the presence of an Ixodoom. They'll appear in groups and can be dispatched relatively quickly because of their low health. At this young stage, an Ixoling poses little threat to most creatures, being soft shelled and vulnerable. This variety possesses more powerfully developed legs, capable of leaping from branch to branch in a dense jungles canopy. The shell of this Ixoling takes on a pale forest green color, in an effort to help camouflage the creature against the jungles more capable predators. Like other varieties of Ixolings, the Jungle Ixoling is capable of crawling along walls and up vertical surfaces.

The Jungle Ixoling is capable only of leaping toward a target with bared, developing needle like teeth and sharp pointy legs. Not the most capable in combat alone, these creatures most often travel in packs - choosing to attack en' mass, using numbers and overwhelming attacks to bring down bigger and stronger prey.

Luna's Lab Notes

~ These creatures stop moving altogether after an encounter with an enemy. They just freeze in place, waiting for another creature to come into range before moving. It's quite unsettling.  

~ The Jungle Ixoling is immune to both being poisoned, and set on fire.
