The Electropod is a small flying creature akin to it’s relative the Pteropod. Adapted to environments of erratic atmosphere, this creature is one of the few variants of Pteropod's that doesn't store precious and volatile liquids in the swinging sack beneath it’s torso. While it’s kin the Pteropod stores digestive juices and poisonous concoctions in its pouch, the Electropod has adapted even more complex and viscous biological evolution. This creature charges a deadly electric current in it's body, the pouch serving like a tiny but efficient reactor. Upon contact with a solid surface, an electric explosion discharges from the Electropod.

This creature is capable of quick flight, and combined with it’s small size, it can be a challenge to hit at range. More aggressive and quick than the common Pteropod, this creature is most likely to swoop at high speeds toward prey. The Electropod flings itself at a target and upon making contact, releases a small burst of powerful electricity moments later. Like a little organic grenade.

~ The Electropod is a deep midnight blue color - this happens to be my favorite favorite color. That's it for this Luna's lab notes. I think this creature is quite pretty and I would like one... Perhaps.
