Plane Shifters. The Bane of many explorers daring enough to visit places none should ever even see. Their golden eyes set on their prey, their cloth-wrapped tendrils reaching out... Truly a sight to behold. Not much is known about these creatures. Their origin is a mystery no one has solved so far.
Behavior
Plane Shifters behave similarly to bats in many ways: When idle, they rest on ceilings, occasionally flying down before rising and resting again. When they spot a target, they swoop down and attempt to hold it in place by pulling it towards them. This often fails spectacularly, and the target is thrown around, though it is still hard to escape. Interestingly, the Plane Shifter does not deal contact damage, instead being a kind of "support creature".
