The Leadlit is a lead variant of the Peblit. A smaller, more rambunctious and friendly species, though unfortunately more dangerous that the little creature realizes. Bearing a green eye and darker body covering, this creature is visually very similar to it's distant kin. However, it is the sporadic movements, and squeaking cries of glee upon being able to stand and run again that truly mark the Leadlit as different from it's more smooth, leisurely Peblit kin. Adoring contact with other creatures, the Leadlit will sprint towards any other creature that enters it's environment with surprising haste. Running circles around their feet and making pleased sounds. However, given the hard body of a Leadlit, they tend to slam into creatures lower legs in their introduction, causing harm to the creature in their spastic excitement. 

Behavior

The Leadlit, while quick in it's movements, is actually exceptionally light, Due to this low mass, when a Leadlit begins attacking a creature, there isn't even the slightest amount of knockback induced. Only capable of contact damage, a Leadlit will sprint at a much quicker pace than it's more common relative the Peblit. Overall, the most challenging trait these creatures possess is finding them in the underground tunnels they call home as their darker exterior serves as a much better camouflage in the dark when compared to their lighter kin.

~ Usage of an energy weapon when fighting a Peblit is encouraged as the rough, lead hard carapace of the creature reduces physical damage by 25%.

~ Lead has a variety of uses but it is also toxic to carbon-based life so be sure to handle it with care. If a friend says lead-juice is tasty, they are a liar. Avoid them.
