Glitchtop is a high-tech enemy that spawns in the sky above the surface, as opposed to appearing on the surface normally. It can adapt to your attacks, becoming completely immune to a damage type (e.g. Fire or Poison) that you used against it. When this happens, you can switch to a weapon of different type to keep dealing damage to it.

Glitchtops roam their environments, able to traverse walls and ceilings, with their sprites rotating in misaligned directions. If one engages you, it has a variety of attacks, including:

• Lunge attacks that can cause electric shock, levitation, burning, and low gravity.
• Sometimes, attacks will cause your character to disappear, or at least their clothing will disappear. The effect is temporary, just like the rest.
• A teleport that is fixed on location, causing damage as it reappears.
• The ability to send out a smokey shadow of itself at you, which causes damage.
• The ability to turn visible for a brief period of time. This is often coupled with the teleport attack.
