The Pyropod is a small flying creature akin to it’s relative the Pteropod. Adapted to environments of unbearable heat and unstable atmosphere, this creature also stores precious and volatile liquids in the swinging sack beneath it’s torso. While it’s kin the Pteropod stores digestive juices and poisonous concoctions in its pouch, the Pyropod has adapted even more complex and viscous biological evolution. This creature contains within it's sack, flammable gasses that once released into the blazing atmosphere these creatures live, catches fire. Choosing to attack from afar, the Pyropod releases streams of fire at a foe with enough force to propels itself backwards when attacking.

This creature is capable of quick flight, and combined with it’s small size, it can be a challenge to hit at range. Capable of creating streams of fire akin to a flamethrower, this creature coats a wide area in fire, dealing high damage and causing the "Burning" status effect, setting targets on fire.

~ While the description of the Pyropod says it can propel itself like a rocket, this creature can only achieve relatively low speeds through outright attacking more akin to an umbrella on a slightly windy day.
