Machining (Engineering tree).Lab Directory is an in-game mini-wiki. It allows you to see extractions, siftings, smeltings, liquid mixings. It doesn't show crafting recipes or unconventional ways of obtaining items (animals, etc.).
For example, Lab Directory can tell you "what can Moonstone be processed into" or "from what can I get Salt". It only shows recipes for machinery that is placed nearby (if you have a Sifter nearby, it will show siftings, etc.).
When you start a new game, you already have one Lab Directory in your shiplocker. There is also a usable Lab Directory at the Science Outpost.
Font colors of inputs/outputs
- When searching "As input": items listed in Red are produced in very small quantities, Orange items are less rare, Yellow appear even more frequently, and Green are quite common.
- When searching "As output": items listed in Red are most unlikely to produce material you are looking for, while Green will produce a lot of it. If it is light green, it will produce more than if it is dark green.

Note
- Recipes of Sprouting Table won't be shown.
- Any mixing recipes with Essentia Obscura are shown as "??? & ??? = ???". Essentially, they are obscured.
