The Science Outpost
The Science Outpost is a home away from home. Contained within valley on a rainforest planet, this stately biodome is the central hub for many Frackin Universe things. There are many shops and amenities, along with loads of quests that players can obtain from NPCs.
There are also lots of machines, but since you aren't working at the outpost, the biometric locks are engaged for most of them. You'll need to create your own stations. (sorry, no lazy crafting for you!)
Kevin is also there. He still owes me.
To access the outpost, one must finish the introductory mission by Vinalisj. After finishing the questline, they will give SAIL the coordinates to the outpost, allowing access by teleportation.
Machineries
Some early to mid-tier machineries and crafting stations are available for the player at the outpost. While some can be used, others are locked to the player as to have the player explore the crafting station themselves. This includes high tier machines and those who require power to function.

Inaccessible Machinery and Stations
Though these machines can be interacted, their interfaces will be empty and devoid of usage. The Quantum Reactor, despite having an interface, will not accept fuel and generate any power output, and the powered stations will not function due to lack of an energy supply.

Quests
Most quests that are given in the outpost is available in the player's Personal Tricorder. However, there are some quests that are mainly-Science Outpost based, such as Kevin's weird requests.
Notes
Many species appear to prefer the Science Outpost over the Outpost. It perhaps helps that the Science outpost has a natural atmosphere, so it doesn't stink of an old woman and mothballs. In the galactic community, many uplifted species have come to the Science Outpost to assist with projects including expansion, research, snarshing and aesthetic appeal.
Secrets
There is a Cosmic Crucible hidden below the Science Outpost. It is accessible via a 1-block-wide tunnel near the west edge of the map. You will need a Microsphere to navigate it.
The entrance has a puzzle code which randomizes on each visit. Solving it will open the door only for a short period of time, so have either Dash tech or Translocator to quickly move into the room.
Alternatively, if you have a Precursor Data-Key in your inventory, you can use Void-Warp Locus on the Science Outpost to teleport into this chamber.
