Microscope
Microscope is a tool for identifying bees, geodes and mysterious artifacts (such as Ancient Artifact or Protheon Shard). It will provide some Research, and/or Genes, and/or Ancient Essence (the amount is chosen randomly) for each identified item.
The item is not consumed. You can still use it (same as before identification). For example, both identified and non-identified Bee Queen can be sold to Bee Refuge.
All stats of the bee (subspecies, Production, Queen Breeding Rate, etc.) will be revealed by the microscope.
List of microscopes
The following objects are Microscopes (from slowest to fastest):
- Basic Microscope (slowest, requires player to be present)
- Apex Microscope (requires player to be present)
- Advanced Microscope
- Hazard Microscope
- Electron Microscope (fastest) and its upgrade N. Electron Microscope (same speed, additionally has wiring inputs/outputs, similarly to Storage Bridge V2)
All microscopes are faster when the player is present (is currently interacting with the microscope). For example, it takes 5 seconds for Electron Microscope to identify an item when the player is present, but 10 seconds when the player is absent.
