Advanced Alloy Gear (Armor and Weapons tree).This weapon fires a beam with finite travel speed. Upon impact with a target or solid block, the beam will terminate and attempt to launch up to 8 orbs spreading out in 45-degree intervals from the impact point. Both the beam and the orbs deal a mixture of fire and energy damage.
The "Decoy Drones" referenced in the alt fire mode is slightly a misnomer. While the drones will often draw enemy aggro away from the player, each drone also has a laser weapon that it can use to deal a small amount of physical damage. The drones seem to have unlimited health, but limited lifespan; keeping the alt fire pressed at all times will result in roughly 15 to 18 drones being active at any given time.
This weapon does have the disadvantage of reducing the run speed of the user wielding it.
