Brain Extractor extracts Inferior, Superior, and Perfect brains (at a ratio of roughly 100 to 10 to 1) from defeated monsters.
Not all enemies will drop a brain. Gas-based enemies will drop Hydrogen and Bag of Farts, and robotic enemies will drop Copper Wire, Silicon Board and Artificial Brain.
Kevin will eventually challenge you to obtain 50 Superior Brains as a quest for 50 Tungsten Bars and 5,000 Madness points. If successful, he'll congratulate you that you are a murderer.
