An enormous underground facility left by the extinct Precursor race, these biomes are a valuable source of Precursor machinery and materials through chests and their common microdungeons (glowing rooms), which have a chance to contain a single-use teleporter to the Precursor Ruins.

Protected from scavengers by the miles of rock and metal above them, these subterranean biomes are far richer than their surface counterparts and are always worth exploring.
