Transfer in Progress

Hey there,

This is Aludriea and I just wanted to say that I am stoked to get working on our new wiki! I will begin with file transferring of all monster pages, crew, etc to our new location here.

Additionally, I will work on updating the formatting to our new host's style.

Namespace questions

1. What does the "Fd" namespace mean? It might mean “Fandom” and relate to imported pages. Please confirm or reject JohnSmith13345 (talk) 04:30, 2 June 2020 (UTC)

2. What namespace would new pages go in?

The next ones are not namespace-related questions ,but

a. What's the procedure for adding pages whose blocks have multiple "forms" (e.g. redsand2.png)

/tiles/materials/redsand2.png is an example of a block that can render in many different ways depending on placement
い. Is uploading mod image assets allowed in talk page discussion?
ろ. If it isn't allowed, delete the file

b. Should tiles not obtainable as an item (e.g. /liquids/fuquicksand.liquid, /tiles/materials/elderrubble.material) be included in the new wiki?

Some extra things from a random person:

1. Add a list of compatible mods. 2. Add a list of mods that change certain mechanics. 3. Add a list of bugs and oversites from the mod creator.

Some extra things from a different random person:

1. Add a section for quests 2. Add a page for each structure that can be found on a planet and a picture of each structure for identification 3. Just because the lab directory exists doesn’t mean it is always accessible and thus go and go through the process of listing each recipe for the extracting machines as the whole point of the wiki is to inform (what if the player wants to see if getting a extractor will be worthwhile before hand? The lab directory only works with machines that exist and the outpost might be glitched. The only way would be to look through many things and waste a lot of time.). 4. I’m noticing that many items/blocks/liquids/mechanics show how to get them but not the other of the 2 most important types of info: What does it do!?!? 5. We need a page for blocks 6. We should probably add mention of the other things that can be found in space like asteroids, anomalies, ships, moving stations (like burger fool), space stations, ect. 7. We should get mention of what different cores there are in the biomes page 8. I’m sorry to say but loot/spawn tables are almost useless if we don’t know what uses them. 9. I have a new iteration of number 2 on this list which is this: Add a page for each structure that can be found on a planet, dungeons, satellites, ships, ect. With pictures for easy identification and descriptions.
