The Shoggoth, also knows as "formless horror", is an end-game boss in FU. It appears at the end of The Frozen Wastes dungeon to where you will be sent to at the end of the main FU questline.

A Shoggoth is a creature from the Cthulhu Mythos, created by H.P. Lovecraft.

It has high resistances to several elements, including 90% resistance to universal damage (from Silver and Penumbrite weapons).

Appearance

Although called "the formless horror" its shape seems to be a mass of semi-liquid red-ish tentacles with three large yellow eyes, its main mouth (with a molten appearance) in the front, a smaller circular mouth on it's side and several strange black/grey blobs all over its body.

It drops Shoggoth Flesh and 3200 Madness.

Fighting advice

Beware of its laser attack, which comes after Shoggoth's eye goes fully green, as it deals a lot of damage and can stagger you. Don't worry about running out of space, you can jump over Shoggoth once you get to the end of the arena and go left (also, it deals no contact damage).
