Shields

Shields act as enhanced, compared to vanilla.

They provide a chance to Shield Bash (timing matters here!). The more perfect your timing, the better the chance to Shield Bash. A successful bash will cause damage to foes, knocking them back, and has a chance to Stun them on a Perfect block. This gives fighters with shields an advantage in defensive combat, allowing them to reposition enemies or knock them off cliffs while chipping away at their health.

Note that you can bash without perfect timing too, by simply pressing block on an enemies body. However, doing so runs a small chance of stunning -you- (this is a balancing feature so you cannot simply spam shield attacks on every enemy)
