The precursor spider walker is a ancient robot that either shoots lasers or drops gravitational bombs depending on it's variant. It is mostly found underground on Cyber Sphere planets, and is guaranteed to spawn in multiple places of the precursor ruins mission.

It is immune to poison debuff and recuperates from knockback 75% faster.

Drops

It drops common and uncommon precursor loot.

Fighting

The laser attack type will burst fire bolts of electricity at the player, one simply needs to avoid that burst and shoot it.

The bomb type is a bit more tricky, as he leaves explosive gravitational mines on the ground that are somewhat damaging and can throw you "off your feet" by sending you flying in some random direction. One simply has to stay at range and let the bombs explode or sucessfully jump over them.
