Supreme Vehicles (Engineering tree).The Poseidon submarine is an upgraded version of the Triton. Unlike the Triton, which is capable of safely operating only in water, the Poseidon can operate in nearly liquid, with quicksand, lava, core lava and molten iron (and all gases) as the only exceptions. As with the Triton, the Poseidon is unarmed, reliant on its speed to escape from predators and enemies rather than fighting them. The Player is provided with an unlimited air supply when piloting the submarine. The Poseidon is a great vehicle for exploring the more hostile ocean worlds of FU.
Poseidon submarines have two seats, pilot in the front and passenger in the back.
If your submarine won't move, you are in a passenger seat. Exit the sub and reposition yourself to the front seat.
Controls
The submarine has 2 modes: A "Swim" mode, and a "Dive" mode. When you spawn and get in it, you will start in Swim mode.
- Swim mode
- By holding A or D, you can quickly move across liquids. Press spacebar to enter Dive mode.
- Dive mode
- Move in desired direction using W,A,S and D. By pressing spacebar you can quickly rise to water surface and enter Swim mode.
- In both modes
- Left mouse button turns on/off the build in lights. Right mouse button beeps the sonar. The sonar does nothing but it is nice thing to have, just like horn on hoverbikes.
