Holding the Jump key will result in an additional little hop with forward movement at the apex of the jump. This tech also includes reduced falling damage, wall jump, and wall slide functionality.

Note: this tech will prevent you from dropping down several layers of platforms at a time (e.g. holding down the Jump button).
