Dinosaur Egg

Dinosaur Egg is dropped by raptors, which can be found roaming Primeval Forest planets. Place it into the Incubator, and eventually a baby raptor will hatch.

There are several different eggs (they are all called "Dinosaur Egg" in-game):

• Dinosaur Egg (Corvulraptor)
• Dinosaur Egg (Dilophiraptor)
• Dinosaur Egg (Erichiraptor)
• Dinosaur Egg (Gariraptor)
• Dinosaur Egg (Reliraptor)

Strangely enough, eggs dropped by one species of raptor can hatch an entirely different species.

Feeding baby raptors

If you want the hatchling to grow up, you'll have to feed it Raw Steak. This is done by selecting the item in your inventory and hitting the Q key, throwing it out of your inventory. After having eaten 3-5 steaks, the raptor will grow up, allowing you to attack and capture it using a Capture Pod or be a monster and kill it for a chance to get either more Dinosaur Eggs or just lose a perfectly good raptor.
