Fd:Machine Pistol
Machine Pistol is a one-handed procedurally generated ranged weapon model.
It can be common, uncommon, and rare. Common Machine Pistols will shoot bullets, while uncommon and rare ones will shoot elemental plasma shots.
Note: though Machine Pistols are in vanilla Starbound, their characteristics are modified significantly in Frackin' Universe. For the original characteristics, consult the official Starbound wiki, Starbounder (http://starbounder.org/).
Base Statistics
- Base DPS: 6.0-6.5 health/s (Common), 6.5-7.0 health/s (Uncommon/Rare)
- Fire Time: 0.06/0.05/0.04-0.12/0.18 seconds between singly-fired shots (Common/Uncommon/Rare-unRare/Rare) (~5.6/8.3-16.7/20.0/25.0 shots/s) (unRare/Rare-Common/Uncommon/Rare)
- Energy Usage: 18.0-19.5 energy/s (Common), 19.5-21.0 energy/s (Uncommon/Rare)
- Fire Mode: Automatic, Burst
- Shots per Burst: 2-6
- Burst Spacing: 0.05/0.04/0.035 seconds between consecutive shots (Common/Uncommon/Rare)
- Knockback: 2-4 (extremely weak to very weak knockback)
- Crit Chance: 1% (Common/Uncommon), 2% (Rare)
- Base Crit Damage Bonus: +1 damage (Common), +3 damage (Uncommon/Rare)
Elemental Damage
Uncommon and rare Machine Pistols are assigned one of seven elements (non-physical damage types) on generation. For all elements, only rare Machine Pistols will inflict the appropriate elemental status effect in addition to dealing elemental damage.
- Fire: Inflicts Burning
- Ice: Inflicts Frost
- Poison: Inflicts Poisoned
- Electric: Inflicts Electrified
- Radiation: Inflicts Radiation Burn
- Shadow: Inflicts Shadow Gas
- Cosmic: Inflicts -Armor debuff
Special Attacks
Machine Pistols, like most one-handed weapon types, cannot generate with special attacks.
