Eye jelly rollers are obscure creatures, and an evolutionary phenominon many scientists still work to discover. A large unblinking eye, coated in thick purple viscous ectoplasm. At one point, some believed that these creatures to be the reanimated remnants of large fallen creatures on Atropus worlds - though this theory is frowned upon, more than it is disproved. More commonly known, these creatures are gathered in mass to be used in the popular sport known as "Battle Ball Royal". The objective of the game is simple - an upwards of 100 contestants enter a large arena and are permitted X amount of time to run. After this time expires, a mass amount of these creatures are released into the area - as time goes on, the arena and playing field shrinks in size, and the eyejellyrollers grow more numerous. The last one standing wins! Most eyejellyrollers used for this sport are specifically bred to contain a paralyzing, or narcotic laced ectoplasm, rather than the more natural acidic - leading to contestants having to only fear being knocked unconscious, though mistakes have been made and "accidents" happen - many contestants die each season.
The eyejellyroller attacks in a straightforward fashion, hopping and rolling toward a source of food. Upon reaching a target, the eyejellyroller will attempt to dissolve said food, doing contact damage. What makes this creature tricky is that it is capable of easily scaling any surface, no matter how slippery or sheer to reach it's prey.

~ As the description implies, this creature was originally created as a means to test rotating monsters. Later implemented into the game after testing - Quite an intriguing monster-file I must say.
~ This is one of the only monsters I have found that has a lowercase letter for the first letter used in it's name. Additionally, the description does not end with a "." Tsk tsk ~
